One of the reasons I love this work as much as I do (and I really, really do!) is because my own story involves the healing power of therapy. I know firsthand how much courage it takes and the healing that is possible! It is a great honor to walk alongside others and witness their own journey, which will always look different than mine. When I am not working I am most often enjoying time with friends, probably over a good meal or board game. I enjoy poetry, music, baseball games and finding new sources of playfulness and laughter.
